Maddie Montz is the founder of Tremont Tutors and a licensed teacher with expertise in chemistry and organic chemistry tutoring. She holds a Master’s degree in Chemistry Education from Harvard University and a Bachelor of Science in Chemistry from Providence College.  With over 10 years of teaching and tutoring experience, Maddie has supported more than 100 students in high school chemistry, college chemistry, and organic chemistry. She is known for making complex topics clear and approachable while helping students improve grades, test scores, and confidence.

Families trust Maddie for her structured approach, engaging teaching style, and proven results. Many students continue working with her semester after semester, a reflection of the relationships and outcomes she builds.

Outside of her work, she is an avid runner, a loyal Providence Friars basketball fan, and enjoys spending time with friends and family.
